We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our state-of-the-art facility in Denver, Colorado. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other machinery, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are correctly stored. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and proficiency in handling various types of equipment to support our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding material handling and storage.
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
