Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specific instructions.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks safely.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and distribution standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and operate warehouse machinery.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of logistics principles is beneficial.
- A proactive approach to safety and cleanliness in the warehouse.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a busy warehouse environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures. Physical demands include regular lifting and movement. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory within our logistics operations.
