We are seeking diligent Picker/Packers to join our energetic logistics team in San Francisco, California. In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their items accurately and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include accurately picking items from various warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists, carefully packing products into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for dispatch. Exceptional attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also vital for operational efficiency. A strong commitment to workplace safety is non-negotiable; this includes the consistent and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform consistent lifting of items up to 50 pounds throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and retrieve items.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Meet productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute positively to team goals and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
