Are you an energetic individual looking for an opportunity in the Logistics field? We are hiring an Order Picker in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are essential for ensuring timely shipments and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning technology to locate and collect items, demanding a high level of accuracy and focus. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, equipping you with the necessary PPE and training on proper Lifting techniques. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and the chance to be a key player in our fast-paced distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correctness.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Follow all Logistics operational guidelines.
- Consistently use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to Safety protocols.
