We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency will be key to maintaining the smooth flow of our operations. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all associates to adhere to strict Safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are protected.
- Perform inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on workplace Safety .
- Utilize provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify and report any damaged inventory or operational issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including sorting and organizing.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
