We're looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to take the lead on all things payroll for our U.S. and Canada teams. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time, while partnering closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and our external vendors.

What You'll Do

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing for multiple U.S. states and Canada.
  • Run, review, and audit payroll each cycle to make sure everything is accurate.
  • Stay on top of wage laws, tax rules, and company policies to keep us compliant.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports, timesheets, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Keep payroll records up to date, from compensation and tax info to benefit deductions.
  • Review and ensure timely submission of payroll tax filings.
  • Analyze payroll data to spot trends, errors, or improvement opportunities.
  • Put together payroll reports for leadership, Finance, and auditors.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to resolve any payroll issues and support employee questions.
  • Work with the Stock Admin team to report equity activity (ESPP, RSUs, disqualifying dispositions).
  • Support year-end tasks like W-2s, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Provide payroll-related info for audits and reviews as needed.
  • Administer and troubleshoot our payroll system (ADP).
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits vendors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Help with payroll system upgrades, testing, and implementations.
  • Suggest process updates that improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain SOX compliance and assist with internal/external audits.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally with a public company and multi-state payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems—ADP Workforce Now (U.S. & Canada) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, IRS rules, multi-state and Canada payroll.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong comfort with payroll systems.
  • Great communication and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
  • Someone who's collaborative, flexible, and comfortable working with all levels of the business.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
