Server

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at SAT 3 Asian Seafood. With menu items averaging $30, the potential for tips + $2.13hr is tremendous. This is the third and largest location to date with future growth in the near future and potential for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
• Bar and Menu knowledge and the ability to provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns.
• Process payments using the POS system and cash handling at end of service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, includes pre-bussing tables and helping reset tables for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Food Handler's Certification required within 1 week of hiring.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and special requests.
• Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling , and drink knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule. This is a 365 restaurant.
• TABC and Food Handler's Certifications with 1 week of hire.
