Dumpling U is a fast-paced soup dumpling restaurant looking for reliable and team-oriented staff to join our front-of-house team. We are hiring Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

-Server (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Job Description
We are looking for friendly and efficient Servers who enjoy working with people and can provide excellent customer service in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly
• Take orders accurately and confirm with guests
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
• Check on guests during the meal (refills, clearing plates, utensils)
• Communicate with kitchen and manager regarding orders or issues
• Handle basic guest concerns and report problems to the manager
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and server stations
• Work as a team with host, busser, and kitchen staff

Requirements

• Restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Basic English communication required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend and dinner availability preferred

Schedule

• Full-Time: 4–5 days per week
• Part-Time: Flexible shifts, evenings and weekends

-Busser (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Job Description
We are hiring Bussers to support our service team by keeping the dining area clean and organized during service.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly after guests leave
• Assist servers with refilling water and clearing plates
• Keep dining area, floors, and service stations clean
• Help maintain a smooth flow during busy hours
• Assist with basic side work as assigned

Requirements

• No experience required (training provided)
• Fast learner and able to work efficiently
• Physically able to stand, walk, and lift light items
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Weekend availability preferred

Schedule

• Part-Time or Full-Time available
• Shifts mainly during peak hours and weekends

-Host / Hostess (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage waitlist and seat guests efficiently
• Answer basic questions about menu and wait times
• Coordinate with servers and manager to manage table flow
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand and front entrance

Requirements

• Friendly personality and good communication skills
• Basic English required
• Able to stay calm and organized during busy periods
• Reliable and punctual
• Customer service experience is a plus

Schedule

• Part-Time or Full-Time available
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
