Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting overall warehouse distribution activities. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, safety protocols, and materials handling to ensure smooth order fulfillment and shipping operations.

Duties

• Manage inventory control
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
• Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize storage efficiency
• Support order fulfillment activities by picking and packing products according to specifications
• Maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations during all warehouse operations
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow processes and ensure timely delivery of orders
• Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required for manufacturing or construction-related projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related logistics roles
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers; forklift certification preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices in materials handling
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads consistently and perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and stocking
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy
• Prior experience with shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or warehouse supervision is a plus
• Knowledge of manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
