About Us

We are a Houston-based warehousing and logistics company operating forklifts, yard trucks, and commercial trucks to support daily warehouse and transportation operations. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Project Manager to oversee maintenance planning, repairs, and preventive maintenance for our equipment and vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance and repair operations for forklifts, warehouse equipment, and trucks
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
• Coordinate internal technicians and third-party repair vendors
• Track and control maintenance costs, parts inventory, and downtime
• Inspect equipment condition and ensure safe operation
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and service logs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company policies
• Support emergency repairs and minimize operational disruptions
• Assist management with maintenance budgeting and performance reporting

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in equipment, forklift, or truck maintenance (hands-on experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with forklifts (electric & propane/diesel), yard trucks, and light/heavy-duty trucks
• Basic understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Experience managing maintenance schedules, vendors, and repair projects
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Mechanical or technical background preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese) is a plus, but not required

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or fleet operations
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
• Forklift technician or diesel mechanic background
