Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver – Full-Time (Home Every Night)

Pay Range: $28-$30 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Work Location: In-person, based out of Athens, NY

Job Overview:
As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of lumber products to our valued customers. You'll work with a dedicated team and enjoy the benefit of being home every night. Your attention to safety and detail will contribute directly to our high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a company-owned tractor-trailer to transport lumber products to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to plant management promptly.
• Ensure all delivery-related paperwork is accurate and complete before departing the plant.
• Provide customers with timely and professional service, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
• Maintain detailed logs of travel and product delivery in compliance with Federal, State, and DOT regulations.
• Uphold Culpeper Trucking's commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience required.
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents.
• Ability to adhere to federal and state driving laws, as well as DOT regulations.
• Must successfully complete a background check, including employment history, criminal history, physical examination, and drug screening.
