Waitstaff/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service while efficiently handling their orders and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, including Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food and beverage options.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and special requests are met.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with care.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server or in food service is preferred; restaurant experience is highly valued.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel services is a plus.
• Must possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables efficiently.
