Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator and be at the heart of efficient warehouse distribution In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks, to load, unload, and move materials safely and accurately. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth order picking, shipping, and receiving processes. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills will directly contribute to our operational success. Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Conduct order picking using RF scanners and pick systems to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries.
- Assist with materials handling activities such as stacking, organizing, and storing inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Support warehouse management system updates to track inventory movements accurately.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate the movement of goods and optimize space utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields.
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated proficiency in heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control.
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehouse environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations.
- Prior experience with warehouse supervisor roles or construction environments is a plus but not required.
