The Role
We're looking for an accountable, hands-on leader to run daily operations, manage the team, and grow the business at one of our franchise locations. As a General Manager, you'll oversee scheduling, sales, equipment maintenance, customer satisfaction, and the financial performance of a location.
Important Note on Hiring & Timing
This position is part of a national General Manager talent roster supporting 200+ franchise locations across the U.S.
Qualified candidates are interviewed and added to this pre-qualified roster, where franchise owners actively select General Managers as openings arise.
While placement may not be immediate, roster members are regularly contacted based on location needs, experience, and timing.

Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team of 6–8 field technicians
- Manage daily schedules, routes, and production goals to maintain year-round profitability
- Maintain quality standards on every job and ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee budgets, expenses, and key performance metrics outlined by the Owner / Regional Manager
- Ensure efficient operations using computers and scheduling software
- Report directly to the Owner / Regional Manager
- Hire, train, and mentor team members (lawn care or landscape industry experience required)
- Maintain a positive, growth-oriented culture
- Perform daily field work and equipment maintenance when required to hit revenue goals
- Follow established standard operating procedures
What We're Looking For
- Strong communicator who leads by example and works alongside the team
- Goal-driven and motivated by financial performance
- Willing to step up during peak seasons, including occasional weekends
- Organized and comfortable following structured systems
- Experience managing people or lawn / landscape operations (preferred)
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves—our GMs lead from the front
If you're looking to sit in an air-conditioned truck all day, this is not the role.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $60k–$80k base + performance bonuses
(Top General Managers exceed $100k/year by Year 3)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with seasonal flexibility
- Hours: 40–50 per week depending on season
- Employment: Full-time, year-round
