General Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and a solid understanding of retail management practices. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining a positive shopping environment for our customers.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Lead and motivate a team of employees through effective training, development, and performance management.
• Conduct employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the team.
• Manage payroll and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
• Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote store offerings and drive sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet sales goals.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles, with a strong background in retail sales.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, budgeting, payroll management, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for pricing and sales analysis.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training staff members effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficient in administrative tasks related to store operations including merchandising and stocking.

Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
