Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive roofing project estimates utilizing construction estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing, material quantities, labor costs, and profit margins.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents thoroughly to develop detailed scope of work and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and project timelines that align with company objectives.
• Manage all aspects of project planning including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control measures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
• Monitor project progress regularly; identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain detailed records of project documentation such as change orders, RFIs, progress reports, and safety logs.
• Foster strong relationships with clients through transparent communication, timely updates, and exceptional service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices throughout each project.

Skills

• Preferred experience in construction estimating for accurate bid development.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with clients and subcontractors while maintaining positive relationships.
• Solid understanding of construction management principles including scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
• Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into field operations and logistical coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Effective project management capabilities with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with contracts management including scope development, change order processing, and risk mitigation strategies.
