Duties
- Develop and maintain robust e-commerce platforms using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular and React.
- Design user-friendly interfaces by creating wireframes and collaborating with UX/UI teams to enhance user flows and overall web design.
- Implement and manage back-end systems utilizing PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET, ensuring smooth integration with front-end components.
- Optimize website performance through effective system architecture planning, responsive web design, SEO best practices, and data visualization techniques.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, and others to store product data, customer information, and transaction records securely.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions while leveraging Docker and DevOps practices for scalable application development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies via tools like Jira or Trello to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Ensure website security by implementing RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL queries, and adhering to best practices for web services integration.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to maintain code quality standards across all development stages.
- Support system architecture planning for cloud environments such as AWS or Azure to enhance scalability and reliability of e-commerce solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (and TypeScript), jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong back-end development skills using PHP, Python (Django), Ruby on Rails, C#, or Java within MVC frameworks like Spring or ASP.NET.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for building interactive UI components.
- Hands-on experience working with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite; knowledge of SQL queries is essential.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker along with orchestration platforms such as Ansible for deployment automation.
- Experience with version control systems including Git (GitHub) or SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or similar tools for continuous integration.
- Ability to develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party web services using SOAP or GraphQL protocols.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments such as Tomcat servers or Linux-based systems; experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
