Sr Systems Analyst, Information Systems Engineering-Manufacturing Systems

Job Duties: 

  • Design, document, deploy, and verify batch reports for manufacturing systems.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain SQL-based databases for organizing manufacturing data and preparing the data for structured reporting.
  • Create and manage metadata structures to contextualize batch report field configurations.
  • Manage all batch reporting projects within the IT Manufacturing Systems department, including during bi-annual facility shutdowns.
  • Gather and translate user requirements into technical specifications and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with validation and quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GxP).
  • Proactively identify opportunities, anticipates problems and implements solutions as required for business impacting issues.
  • Assists a lead engineer in supporting the data acquisition tag deployments, as required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Automation Systems.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills Needed: 

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and industrial data flows.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical compliance standards (e.g., GxP, validation).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in SQL database development and reporting platforms.
  • Experience in electronic batch reporting.
  • Understanding of time-series data systems.
