Commercial Construction Superintendent Job Summary and Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years Commercial construction superintendent experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with Commercial General Contractor

Experience with tenant improvements, ground up construction, site & civil work and remodels. Knowledge of all areas/trades of commercial construction

Proficiency in blueprint/plan reading

Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Microsoft Project

Strong scheduling background, able to fully develop construction schedules and three-week look ahead schedules

Experience work with city and other inspectors on construction projects

Demonstrate a professional demeanor excellent written and verbal communication

Proficient in using an iPhone & iPad in order to plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions (daily reports, quality reports, 3wk look ahead, etc.) Currently use Procore for daily reports, safety reports, RFI's, and Submittals.

Assist Preconstruction and Project Management to develop an initial project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.

Develop, maintain, and enforce a project site logistics plan and temporary facilities plan.

Must have a minimum formal commercial construction safety training with:

• OSHA 10/30
• CPR (will provide if needed)
