Our dedicated team of physiotherapists provides personalized manual therapies to reduce pain, improve movement, and prevent future injuries. Working on-site within our multidisciplinary clinic allows for close collaboration between physiotherapists and physicians, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team on Saturdays only. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who values teamwork, thrives in a supportive environment, and is passionate about helping patients achieve their movement and recovery goals.

As Mimico Medical continues to expand its Physiotherapy Department, this position offers the potential for future growth within our upcoming dedicated physiotherapy facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures such as functional ability tests and make a physiotherapy diagnosis.
  • Establish treatment goals with patients based on diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement physiotherapy treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and other modalities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them accordingly.
  • provide advice on exercises and strategies to implement at home to enhance or maintain treatment.
  • Communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding clients' problems, needs, and progress.
  • Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs for clients, staff, and the community.
  • Conduct research in physiotherapy, as applicable.
  • Provide consulting or educational services as required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
  • Completion of a period of supervised practical training.
  • Current license or registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Successful completion of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
