Are you someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has strong leadership skills?

Capital Auto Group is seeking a highly organized, operationally driven leader to take ownership of two critical pillars of our business: our centralized shuttle service and our centralized tire storage division. The Central Operations Lead will manage daily operations, coordinate staffing, implement process improvements, and ensure exceptional client experiences across all participating dealerships. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on efficiency, cost control, and service quality throughout the Auto Group.

Key Responsibilities

Shuttle Operations (Centralized Service for All Stores)

  • Oversee daily shuttle scheduling, routing, and capacity planning for 7 shuttles.
  • Maintain consistent service delivery for mainstream and luxury store clients, ensuring premium experiences for BMW/MINI, Genesis, and Lincoln clients.
  • Track KPIs such as on-time performance, trip volume, client satisfaction, and driver productivity.
  • Optimize shift structures, reduce overtime, and maintain a safe, supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Service Managers and Fixed Ops leadership to ensure seamless integration with store needs.

Tire Storage Centralization & Management

  • Lead the transition of all stores (6) into the centralized tire storage facility.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, tagging, bin management, seasonal preparation, and condition verification.
  • Ensure all CDK & PBS Tire Storage app workflows are operating correctly.
  • Manage seasonal staffing levels, including a full-time year-round employee and 1–2 seasonal or cross-trained dealership support staff.
  • Maintain strict controls for abandoned sets, worn tires, and client communication.

Leadership & Administration

  • Directly supervise a team of drivers and storage staff with a focus on coaching, accountability, and ongoing development.
  • Maintain labor budgets, overtime targets, and seasonal cost forecasting.
  • Regularly report performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and internal operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, or dealership fixed operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams of 5+ employees.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, routing, and operational software (experience with CDK/PBS considered an asset).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
