Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Partner closely with operations, accounting, warehouse, and estimating teams to ensure seamless purchasing execution.
  • Train internal teams on purchasing software, processes, and best practices.
  • Work with leadership to align procurement strategy with company goals, project planning, and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on purchasing experience supporting commercial construction or subcontractor operations.
  • Strong understanding of material lead times, project-driven purchasing, and demand planning in a construction environment.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor negotiation, cost reduction, supplier management, and category management.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
