Job Title: HR Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist
Reports to: HR Manager

Position Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department and it also responsible for the front desk by greeting guests and answering incoming calls.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Attend the front desk during business hours and greet and direct guests in a polite and timely manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments.
  • Accept and review applications of employment and assist with scheduling interviews with hiring supervisors.
  • Assist the HR Manager with Onboarding new employees, including organizing and preparing paperwork, drug testing and training.
  • Assist with auditing and filing paperwork.
  • Assist with organizing and participating in company events.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment.
  • Assist with the coordination of Light Duty assignments and workers comp claims.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements:

  • MInimum 1-year experience as an HR Assistant, or other similar work preferred.
  • Must have a general knowledge of state and federal labor laws (i.e., FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be comfortable with training and public speaking.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Ability to multitask, and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write both English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift 25lb.
  • Pass mandatory drug test and background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
