Construction Manager / Project Administrator – ADUs, Remodels & New Builds

About Us

ADU Resource Center is one of Southern California's fastest-growing design-build firms, specializing in Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), home remodels, additions, and new home construction.
We handle everything from design to permits to construction — and we're now expanding our in-house construction division under our GC license.

We're looking for a Construction Manager / Project Administrator who can help run and grow this department — managing projects, building systems, and leading our team to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously (ADUs, remodels, additions, new builds).
• Create accurate estimates and budgets based on drawings and specifications.
• Hire, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials, manage purchase orders, and track payments.
• Schedule inspections and ensure compliance with codes and permit requirements.
• Maintain active communication with homeowners, sales, and design teams.
• Track progress and costs through CRM tools.
• Oversee quality control, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to building internal processes, crews, and systems as we scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of ADU and home-building processes from foundation to finish.
• Excellent project scheduling, budgeting, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Tech-savvy — comfortable using digital tools for project management and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• California B-License preferred, not required (you'll operate under ours).
