*Position Overview*
We are seeking a *BIM/VDC Coordinator* to join our growing VDC team. This position plays a key role in converting design intent into constructible 3D models, coordinating with project managers, detailers, and field foremen to optimize prefabrication and installation workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Revit-based mechanical systems, understands field construction practices, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Develop and maintain 3D mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and process piping) models using Autodesk Revit and SysQue.
* Coordinate across disciplines to resolve clashes and produce constructible, fabrication-ready deliverables.
* Generate spool drawings, shop drawings, and field installation plans.
* Collaborate with project managers and foremen to support prefabrication and installation sequencing.
* Manage model updates through design and construction phases.
* Support integration with Stratus, Connect2Fab, and Trimble field technologies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of company BIM standards and workflows.
*Qualifications*
* Experience in BIM coordination or mechanical detailing.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), SysQue, and Navisworks Manage.
* Understanding of mechanical construction systems, materials, and installation practices.
* Experience with coordination meetings, clash detection, and model-based prefabrication workflows.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Familiarity with Trimble, Bluebeam, and fabrication shop workflows is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
