We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution network, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order picking and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will contribute directly to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities and quality, and properly store items.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Stage orders for shipment and assist with loading outbound trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for productivity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
