Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse, using scanners to locate products, and preparing items for dispatch. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina for standing and walking throughout shifts, and the ability to handle regular Lifting of inventory. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Experience with RF scanning technology is advantageous. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, working collaboratively to meet daily order goals and maintain inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is beneficial.
