This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and process optimization. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies. This role may involve some physical tasks, including moderate Lifting and the ability to be on your feet for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth Logistics flow.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse performance.
- Properly use and ensure staff use of all required PPE .
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional manual Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and experience managing safety programs.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Must ensure and oversee the correct use of PPE by all team members.
