Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order sheets and scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Ensure all orders are correctly labeled for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
