We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada! In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our logistics facility. This includes operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to transport goods, ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking procedures.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to material handling.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
