Join our team in Provo, Utah, as a Material Handler and play a key role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for receiving, identifying, sorting, and staging materials for distribution. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . As a Material Handler, you will work with a variety of materials, ensuring they are moved efficiently and stored correctly. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our facility and supporting our overall Logistics network. We are dedicated to providing a secure and productive environment for all our employees, and adherence to our safety standards is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort and stage materials for various departments or shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Ensure all materials are stored in designated locations, following FIFO principles where applicable.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE .
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervision.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support team objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory principles.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
