We are hiring a Material Handler for our San Francisco, California operations. This role is key to ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery, to load, unload, transport, and store materials. Accurate inventory management, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to strict safety protocols are paramount. If you have experience operating warehouse equipment, a strong understanding of safety procedures, and a commitment to keeping our logistics operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Organize and stack materials according to established procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of materials handled.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE .
- Identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions in the workplace.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Support overall Logistics operations through efficient material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
