Our facility in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing items to ensure safe transit, and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, mandating the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforcing strict safety protocols throughout the warehouse. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves considerable walking, reaching, and lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Dexterity to handle small and large items.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing PPE.
