Job Summary:
Our Denver, Colorado distribution center is looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods. Your duties will include verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all receipts. A strong understanding of inventory management and a commitment to Safety are paramount. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks, including moderate Lifting. You will work closely with our logistics coordinators and warehouse staff to ensure a smooth flow of goods into the facility. Accuracy and efficiency are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming freight from various carriers.
  • Verify contents of shipments against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Inspect all incoming goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Accurately document all received items into the inventory management system.
  • Tag and label all received goods for proper storage.
  • Liaise with vendors and shipping companies to resolve any receiving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all Safety and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Support the logistics department by ensuring timely and accurate receiving processes.
  • Perform occasional Lifting of packages up to 30 pounds.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted with the highest regard for Safety.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including some Lifting.
  • Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to Safety practices and adherence to all guidelines.
