Are you detail-oriented and looking for a dynamic role in Minneapolis, Minnesota? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our efficient warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly and precisely will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key duties include locating items using picking lists, collecting items, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Safety is of utmost importance; you will be required to strictly follow all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This role requires physical stamina, as it involves walking, bending, and regular lifting of products. A foundational understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify the correct product and quantity for each order.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Perform tasks requiring regular lifting of items, typically up to 40 lbs.
- Operate hand trucks or other equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
- Reliable and committed to meeting performance goals.
