We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our extensive inventory. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving any stock discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system reflects real-time stock levels. Your attention to detail will be key to minimizing errors and optimizing stock rotation. This position is fundamental to the efficiency of our Logistics operations. We expect all employees to strictly adhere to PPE requirements for their safety. This role involves regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires keen observational skills. A proactive approach to identifying and preventing inventory issues is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stock integrity.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE .
