Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role as a Design Manager, based in East Sussex or Manchester with opportunities for remote work. The Design Manager will oversee the design and development of electrical systems and solutions for various projects. Key responsibilities include managing a design team, reviewing and approving technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Additionally, the Design Manager will monitor timelines, manage resources, and ensure high‑quality deliverables are achieved.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in electrical design, system planning, and related tools and software
Proficiency in team management, project coordination, and communication
Experience in reviewing and ensuring design compliance with regulations and standards
Attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required
Experience in the electrical or construction industry is advantageous
Familiarity with energy‑efficient and sustainable design solutions is a plus
