As Senior Salesforce Developer – Technical & Release Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving technical leadership and release management within our growing Salesforce estate. Reporting to the Design & Build Engineering Manager, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, QA and Support teams to ensure high-quality, reliable delivery of Salesforce change.## **What you will be doing*** Lead the technical design and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security and alignment with architectural standards.* Act as design authority for changes, conducting code/design reviews and championing Salesforce best practices (Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations).* Oversee release management: define and improve deployment standards using and tools like Gearset Project Pipelines; set release gates and reduce deployment risk.* Drive improvements in delivery processes across Design, Build, Test and Release; identify gaps and implement pragmatic solutions to increase reliability and speed.* Collaborate with internal/external teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship; translate complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.## ## ## **About you*** Extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs).* Strong background in enterprise-scale solution design and release management (including
Gearset Project Pipelines).* Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, integrations and deployment strategies.* Process-driven, organised, pragmatic and calm under pressure, especially around releases.* Excellent communicator, able to influence and lead across teams without direct management responsibility.* Preferred: Salesforce Lightning, App Builder, Data Cloud, Agile delivery, previous technical/delivery lead experience.Desirable certifications* Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Administrator) highly desirable.## ## **Interview Process**2-stage interview, including one on-site in the Bristol office.## ## **Working Schedule**We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
