It is a permanent part‑time position of 30 hours per week (minimum 25 hours) with a mix of home and office based work from 2 Kings Court, Worcester. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and accurately input employee data onto the national NHS workforce system (ESR), meeting monthly deadlines.
Provide helpdesk support for managers and employees using ESR self‑service functions.
Act as a key contact for enquiries from managers, staff and the outsourced payroll provider regarding employee information on ESR.
Investigate and resolve internal queries and anomalies to ensure ESR data accuracy.
Use a keyboard/VDU for a substantial proportion of the working day, requiring accurate and advanced keyboard/data inputting skills.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in a business administration related subject, or Level 2 with considerable NHS administrative experience. Additional level 3 qualification may be required on appointment.
Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship will be provided.
Essential Criteria
Minimum one year experience using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, database) in an office environment.
Experience with regular data inputting to strict deadlines.
Experience investigating and resolving queries using relevant work procedures.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience inputting and mail merging.
Experience working within the NHS or another large organisation.
Knowledge of Agenda for Change NHS Terms and Conditions of Service.
