Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Based in Buffalo, NY
Job type: Full time, 8-hour shift
YOUR MANDATE
The Operations Supervisor will have the responsibility to support daily operations at our Sustana Recovery Plant in Buffalo. This role is vital to ensure safety, productivity, and operational excellence while leading and supporting a team of 12 people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent of the role will ensure the efficiency and the productivity of the operations of the plant.
More specifically:
- Assisting in supervising and coordinating daily plant activities to ensure production objectives are met.
- Supporting the implementation of safety policies, participating in safety audits, and helping maintain regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring production processes and assisting in ensuring quality standards for recycled paper products.
- Helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in preparing operational and safety performance reports.
- Supporting the resolution of production-related issues, including equipment, quality, and workforce needs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
- Proficiency with production management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting production data and implementing process improvements.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
