Our Nutra Star West location in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Production Coordinator to support the Production Supervisor and Plant Manager in maintaining quality standards and efficient production. In this role, you'll help manage schedules, track materials, support team leaders, and keep operations running smoothly across production, sanitation, shipping, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update monthly production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Support team leaders and the Production Supervisor in maintaining high product quality.
- Communicate scheduling updates and changes to the Production Supervisor, team leaders, and other relevant departments.
- Accurately complete required documentation and assist with lot numbering processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and help team members with general production tasks.
- Verify material status in Deacom and request material releases
- Partner with Quality Department to print batch records timely to align with production schedule
- Participate in weekly production meetings with NJ Team
- Track production supplies inventory and replenish as necessary
- Partner with Sanitation Department to assure cleaning room supplies are fully stocked
- Work with Shipping Department to track finished goods inventory and send to NJ
- Show a willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the role.
- Complete all required training activities in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular, on-site attendance, act reliably, and follow through on assigned tasks
- Other duties/projects as assigned, including tasks outside the scope of the primary responsibilities as needed, based on the needs of the organization.
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills, keen observation ability
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently.
Technical/Functional:
- Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual and adapt to changes in work duties.
- Able to follow instructions and timelines.
- Experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control function
- Extensive hands-on experience with a computerized production planning system
- Advanced excel and other Microsoft programs
Safety Awareness:
- Follows OSHA Manufacturing Safety Awareness and precautions.
- Promote a safe work environment: ensure all safety protocols are followed, identify, and address potential safety hazards and investigate and report any accidents or near misses immediately to the Supervisor or EH&S Manager.
- Comprehends and adheres to all pertinent Health and Safety Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure all GMP guidelines are adhered to, wear PPE, follow biohazard safety standards.
- 21 CFR 111 cGMP in Manufacturing, Packaging, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements.
- 21 CFR 117 Food Defense
- FSSC 22000: Food Safety Management System
- 7 CFR 205 National Organic Program (NOP)
- 9 CFR 417 Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Additional Information:
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling products.
- Ability to handle 20-25 lbs. on a frequent basis from floor to chest high.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish.)

Salary Range: $26-$28/hr based on experience
