Expo/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and an understanding of food safety and culinary practices.

Duties

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by bussing tables and ensuring that all dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
• Help maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.
• Support the culinary team during busy periods by assisting with food preparation as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
• Assist in setting up banquet events, ensuring all necessary items are prepared for service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others on the team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
