We are seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our culinary program and uphold the highest standards of food quality, creativity, and operational excellence.
Position Overview
The Executive Chef is responsible for all culinary operations, including menu development, kitchen leadership, cost control, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. This role requires a highly motivated, hands-on leader with strong management skills and a passion for delivering excellence in every detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution of high-quality cuisine across all outlets and events
- Develop innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the club's identity and meet member expectations
- Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff to maintain a professional, efficient, and positive work environment
- Maintain strict standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships while optimizing food and labor costs
- Partner closely with the General Manager and leadership team to support club programming, private events, and member experiences
- Oversee culinary execution for high-volume events, private dinners, and specialty programming
- Ensure the kitchen is operating at the highest level of efficiency, quality, and consistency
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse culinary team
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with food cost control and labor management
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional member satisfaction
- Culinary degree preferred but not required if supported by strong experience
