Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments for delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Warehouse Worker, or Courier is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
