Web Developer-Web Designer

Fast growing company, Located in Western New York.

We are seeking a versatile Web Developer/Designer with strong experience in WordPress and WooCommerce. The ideal candidate will be comfortable customizing and editing themes,

building clean and efficient front-end experiences, and supporting ongoing site maintenance.

This role also involves creating visual website proofs, editing images, and occasionally assisting

with customer service inquiries.

Responsibilities

● Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress/WooCommerce websites

● Create or modify themes, including responsive layouts and custom functionality

● Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

● Produce website mockups/proofs and edit digital assets using Adobe Photoshop

● Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices

● Troubleshoot site issues and perform routine updates and maintenance

● Provide occasional customer service support related to website inquiries or orders

Qualifications

● Proven experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce (portfolio or examples

preferred)

● Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (PHP and MySql are a plus)

● Experience with theme development and customization

● Proficiency with Photoshop for mockups and image editing

● Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Nice-to-Have Skills

● Experience supporting customers via email, chat, or ticket systems

● Familiarity with version control (Git)

● SEO best practices and performance optimization

● Basic understanding of hosting environments and DNS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $34.80 per hour
