Laundry Aide(Weekend)

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Laundry Aide, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will play a vital role in creating a comfortable, hygienic environment for residents and staff alike. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all linens, clothing, and resident garments are meticulously cleaned, properly maintained, and efficiently managed. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will help uphold our facility's high standards of sanitation and comfort. The position is every weekend 7am-3pm.

Duties

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning machines with precision and care
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Handle delicate items requiring dry cleaning or special treatment with care and expertise
• Follow proper procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and infection control standards
• Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, supplies used, and items processed
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing

Experience

• Prior experience in laundry services or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with laundry equipment operation and safety procedures is advantageous
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and infection control practices is beneficial
• Experience working in a healthcare or hotel environment enhances understanding of specialized linen care
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
