Retail Associate/Customer Service

Our dog bakery, grooming salon, and retail boutique is seeking a Store Associate who will greet customers as they enter our business and assist them in finding the products that meet their needs. Store associates assist with receiving and stocking inventory, as well as maintaining the sales floor and cleaning. We are looking for an individual who will be very comfortable answering phones and scheduling appointments. There will be light bakery duties as well. You must have weekend and evening availability. You must be able to work during the holiday season, from October 1-December 31. If you have strong customer service skills and a friendly disposition, we want to hear from you. Above all, you must love dogs

Store Associate Responsibility Overview

• Monitor the sales floor to make sure that sales shelves and displays are organized and products are easy to find
• Handle customer questions and resolve customer service issues
• Assist with stocking shelves and removing outdated stock from shelves to be returned to the manufacturer
• Answer phones and schedule appointments for grooming customers
• Help in coordinating store events (Adoption events, promotions, holiday parties)
• Assist in baking and decorating custom dog treats/cakes
• Light cleaning of the sales floor and kitchen

Store Associate Requirements

• Ability to work weekends and evenings
• preferred
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time
• 2+ years customer service experience a plus
• High school diploma/GED required
• High energy and strong multitasking skills required

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $ $12.00 per hour
