Construction Estimator

Job Summary
Baldauf Construction is seeking a skilled Commercial and Residential Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, managing project budgets and sub-contractors, and collaborating closely with clients. The role involves analyzing project requirements, ensuring cost efficiency, and contributing to the planning and execution of construction projects. Pay will be determinate on skill.

Responsibilities
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to accurately estimate materials, equipment, and labor required for construction projects
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for new construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Monitor project costs and ensure cost control throughout the construction process
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Review and analyze project contracts to understand scope of work and contractual obligations
- Assist in project management tasks as needed

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Excellent computer skills especially in Excel and Word
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Healthcare Facility construction standards is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
