The Sales Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for enhancing the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the sales function within the organization. This position focuses on driving process improvements using analytics and ensuring excellence in customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, providing essential support to the sales team while managing critical areas such as sales reporting, enablement, and system administration. As a certified Salesforce Administrator, you will take ownership of the Salesforce platform, ensuring it is fully aligned with our strategic sales goals and providing actionable insights to sales leadership for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Strategy
- Partner with the Sales Director to design and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives. This includes defining target markets, understanding customer needs, and identifying key sales opportunities.
- Develop and continually optimize and document sales processes, including identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Create and maintain robust forecasting models and effective pipeline management practices to ensure accurate sales predictions and performance tracking. Oversee sales reporting and analytics to provide visibility into performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Support the annual planning process by coordinating quota setting and sales compensation models, ensuring they incentivize desired behaviors and align with business objectives. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and data quality.
Salesforce Administration & Optimization
- Serve as the primary
Salesforce Administrator
and the go-to subject matter expert for all Salesforce-related functionalities within the sales organization. Manage system configuration, including objects, fields, workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations. - Maintain user roles and permissions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards. Work to prevent data issues through diligent oversight and proactive maintenance practices. Identify and deploy new Salesforce features to support business growth.
- Provide comprehensive end-user training, create detailed documentation, and offer ongoing adoption support across the sales organization to ensure all team members can leverage Salesforce effectively.

- Support management of the sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and Technical
