Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and addressing concerns with patience and clarity
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory checks, and participating in periodic stock counts
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times

Experience

• Prior retail sales experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing customer interactions during busy periods
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately
• Experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette to foster positive interactions both in person and over the phone
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, upselling strategies, and stock management practices
